Shipments List

You will have a summary list in the Shipping menu that only includes the orders associated with Chilexpress and your particular data. Here you have the options to generate the guide for the shipment, get its associated label or restart it if necessary, and can even do it in bulk with several shipments at the same time. You will also find an option to view shipment details on the associated order details page.

Orders

The administrator will be able to see in the order details a section dedicated to shipping with Chilexpress. Here you will find all the details of it such as: dimensions and weight, available services and their costs, costs for oversize and extended coverage (package insurance), tracking number, shipment status, date of last update and event history.

You will have several actions at your disposal that vary depending on when the shipment is:

  • Before generating the shipment: Change the service, define the value of the package to use the Extended Coverage, change the dimensions and weight of the package. The modification of any of these parameters may have an impact on the final cost of the shipment when it is generated. At the end of the form there is a button to Generate the shipment.
  • After generating the shipment: All the data from the previous point will be displayed but they can no longer be modified because the shipping guide has already been generated. You can only restart the shipment (this option does not cancel the shipment in the Chilexpress system, it only deletes the data associated with said shipment from your PrestaShop store to allow you to generate another guide in case of an error with the previous one). The other option allows you to obtain the label associated with the shipment so that you can print it at your convenience.

Display of Shipping Costs and Delivery Times

The shipping costs and estimated delivery times will be automatically displayed when the customer goes to confirm the order. In the event that no Chilexpress service is available according to the configured city of origin and the destination city established at the customer's address, Chilexpress would not be displayed as a carrier available in the carrier list of the checkout page. In case the text is not displayed correctly due to an incompatibility with your checkout (probably when you use a custom checkout module), you can use the option Show in "Transit time" to force them.
