Orders

On the order page, a panel will be displayed with all the details of the associated transaction.

Transactions List

In the menu Payment -> CoDi Transactions you will find a list with the most relevant information of all the transactions carried out in your store through CoDi. You will be able to filter, sort, and export that list as needed. You can also go directly to the details of the shopping cart or order associated with it, as well as check its status individually in case it is not updated automatically.

Registered phone numbers

QR codes are an alternative to direct payment, which are not addressed to a particular user, but can be paid by any user who has CoDi configured in their banking application. On the other hand, according to the privacy policies of Banco de México, CoDi does not share the real telephone number of the person who makes a payment using a QR code, but rather an associated alias number. For these reasons, in the case of QR code payments, registered phones can never be considered as a real phone of the buyer.

Payment Method Visualization

In the checkout step to choose the payment method, an option to pay by CoDi will be displayed. Next, a page will be displayed where the total amount to be paid and the validity time of the collection message are displayed. Here the buyer can enter the phone number to which he wishes to send the collection message.

When sending the payment, you must wait a few seconds for a notification to the bank application where CoDi has been configured to arrive at the indicated telephone number. When you open it, you will see a screen indicating all the data associated with the payment and it will allow you to accept it. When the collection message is sent, the remaining time you have to make said payment will also begin to decrease with a countdown timer.

Optionally, according to the configuration of the module, a QR code will be displayed that contains the same data as the previous charge. This will serve as an alternative way for the buyer to scan it directly from the bank application where CoDi has been configured and make the corresponding payment.

Once the charge is accepted and the payment is made, the page will automatically change in a few seconds to one that contains the order confirmation information.
